Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Marketlock platform, including all services, tools, reports, and communications provided through marketlock.polsia.app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Lawful Use Only
You may only use the Service for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law, regulation, or ordinance.
2. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Engage in illegal activity — Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, including but not limited to money laundering, illegal gambling, or the promotion of illegal goods or services.
- Submit false or misleading information — Provide inaccurate, fraudulent, or deceptive information about your business, including fake business names, fabricated locations, false service areas, or misleading customer reviews.
- Impersonate others — Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization, including impersonating another business, individual, or entity to gain visibility or competitive advantage.
- Manipulate AI platforms through deception — Attempt to manipulate AI systems (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI, etc.) through the creation of fake content, fake citations, spam link networks, or any other form of artificial manipulation that violates the terms of service of those platforms.
- Harass or threaten — Use the Service to harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm any person or business, including competitors.
- Distribute malware or harmful code — Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, spyware, ransomware, or other harmful code through the Service.
- Scrape or reverse-engineer — Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer the Service, its reports, algorithms, or underlying technology, except as expressly permitted in writing.
- Abuse platform resources — Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to overwhelm the Service infrastructure, generate excessive API calls, or otherwise disrupt the normal operation of the platform.
- Resell without authorization — Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or any reports generated by the Service without a valid agency or reseller agreement with Marketlock.
3. Content Standards
All content you provide to Marketlock — including business descriptions, service areas, contact information, and any other data — must be:
- Truthful, accurate, and not misleading
- Your own or properly licensed for use
- Free of defamatory, obscene, or offensive material
- Compliant with all applicable advertising and consumer protection laws
4. Territory Lock Fair Use
Territory Locks are intended for legitimate businesses operating in their claimed service areas. You may not:
- Lock territories where you have no genuine business presence or intent to serve
- Acquire territory locks solely to prevent competitors from accessing them
- Transfer or sell territory locks to third parties without Marketlock's written consent
5. Consequences of Violation
Marketlock reserves the right to take the following actions if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated this AUP:
- Warning — Written notice of the violation with a reasonable period to cure
- Suspension — Temporary suspension of your account and all associated services
- Termination — Immediate termination of your account without refund
- Territory Lock revocation — Release of any territory locks held by your account
- Legal action — Pursuit of legal remedies, including damages and injunctive relief, if the violation causes harm to Marketlock, its users, or third parties
For serious violations (illegal activity, impersonation, or platform manipulation), Marketlock may terminate your account immediately without prior warning.
6. Reporting Violations
If you believe a user is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, please contact us at support@marketlock.polsia.app with details of the suspected violation. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
